BRAVE: a review

 



I watched this movie with my daughters in response to their request of seeing an animated movie which kids really loves watching. So I made this opportunity to bond with my girls and I ended up crying after.. LOL!

Brave is a movie about a Princess named Merida, a skilled archer who defied her Queen Mother in marrying a qualified prince from different kingdoms which was an old-age tradition that led their kingdom to chaos and disorder. She is a stubborn but an exceptional Princess who wants to live her life the way she wants it. Merida seek help from a witch that made her mother turn into a black bear which was hated and hunted by her King Father. The climax of the story rolled between the search for truth, forgiveness and acceptance.

I just love the Scottish accent all throughout the movie, as it was set from the Highlands of 10th-Century Scotland. It was full of adventure, well animated scenes that kids would truly love. I was deeply touched by the story and the lessons that everybody learned from each other.

I love this quote from Princess Merida.. "Our destiny is within us. We only have to be brave enough to see it." - Merida

I give 4 STARS to this movie. It is worth watching for with your family.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES, a review

This is the fourth installment of The Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. As usual, Johnny played his humorous clever type of a pirate who loves adventures and mysteries. In this film, Jack Sparrow was joined by Angelica (Penelope Cruz) who was his imposter in search for the Fountain of Youth. Angelica is Jack's former lover who happens to be the daughter of the ruthless pirate Blackbeard. This man posseses several magical powers, including the ability to shrink other ships down to miniature size and contain them within bottles. Blackbeard forces Jack to join his crew and lead them to the Fountain to circumvent a prophecy that a one-legged man will soon kill Blackbeard. Meanwhile, Gibbs, who memorized, then destroyed Sparrow's map, joins Barbossa's crew in order to beat Blackbeard and the Spanish to the Fountain. Legion is an apocalyptic-thriller film, directed by Scott Stewart. the primary casts are  Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Adrianne Palicki and Dennis Quaid. the story is all about the other way of doomsday.. on how God will exterminate mankind, as He loses faith to humanity because of the evil doings of the living people. in this film, it conceptualizes a different apocalypse in which God uses His archangels to possess each and every human to become a zombie-like creature to kill each other as a way of exterminating the world's population, as the last judgement. there is only one archangel who believes that there is still hope in the human race.. a hope for change to become good. and that is archangel Michael.
