THE EAGLE, a review

The Eagle is a historical epic movie that was adapted from the adventure historical novel "The Eagle of The Ninth".

This is a story about a young Roman officer who's in search for the lost of his father's legion in the Northern part of Britain. According to the people from the kingdom, the lost of his father was because of his cowardice towards the enemies that made them preferred to hide instead of fighting.

Marcus Aquila wants to know the truth and bring back the honor of his father. He searched for the "golden eagle" which was the symbol of his father's legion. Marcus was joined by Esca, who was their colony's slave where he tried to save from their gladiator. By thanking him, Esca, pledged to be Marcus's slave and even tested his loyalty even if he's not Roman.

The actions and adventures of Marcus and Esca was full of miseries, but it was all worth it when Marcus have gained his father's honor.

I give 4 STARS for this action adventure film..
