RANGO, a review



I'm fond of watching cartoons nowadays.. They're more realistic to watch and moves like they really exists in our world.

I was delighted when i get to watch the movie Rango, who was dubbed by my favorite hollywood actor, super cutie Johny Depp. Rango was a pet chameleon who accidentally dropped off to a desert from the west. He was actually looking for some adventures of his life, to give some "definition" of who he really is.

While finding his way to where he wants, he came across to a small village who was having a water crisis. Unknown to them, it was being controlled of the Mayor, to sustain its projects for his own benefit.

Rango tried to "blend in" with the natives of the town by lying to them about his true identity. But then, he recovered and proved to the citizens of the village his worth as their Sherif by solving their water problems, and exposing the Mayor's illegal acts.

You will laugh along with this movie, and will give a moral lesson fit for everyone about who you really are, and who you really can be.

Nice one, i give 4 STARS for this Western Comedy Cartoon movie!

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES, a review

This is the fourth installment of The Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. As usual, Johnny played his humorous clever type of a pirate who loves adventures and mysteries. In this film, Jack Sparrow was joined by Angelica (Penelope Cruz) who was his imposter in search for the Fountain of Youth. Angelica is Jack's former lover who happens to be the daughter of the ruthless pirate Blackbeard. This man posseses several magical powers, including the ability to shrink other ships down to miniature size and contain them within bottles. Blackbeard forces Jack to join his crew and lead them to the Fountain to circumvent a prophecy that a one-legged man will soon kill Blackbeard. Meanwhile, Gibbs, who memorized, then destroyed Sparrow's map, joins Barbossa's crew in order to beat Blackbeard and the Spanish to the Fountain. SM City Calamba Grand Opening

It was a TGIF, when SM City Calamba had its grand opening located along the busy road of Real. i remember when i blog about it back in December 21, 2009 where it is still on its first month of construction. I am totally impressed about SM's wikipedia info of its target opening date, which is October of 2010 because they absolutely hit it! Of course, how can i miss that opening? our house is just 5 minutes away from the mall.. though we were'nt able to get our feet stepped in as early, atleast we managed to. ;) The people were so overwhelming, and a huge foot traffic covers all the floors of the mall. It's like we're on a rally or something.. like an Edsa revolution, where we cant barely move as we try to walk around. Worst thing? It took us ages to get a table to eat, because all of the food places were jampacked! customers should even have to wait for the long queue of the restaurants just to have lunch. it's like everybody was there!
