The Social Network, a review

 



Facebook movie, that's what most people call it. It's all about Mark Zuckerbeg, Founder and CEO of Facebook who created the biggest social networking site of this genre, and also changed the style and ways of "online friendship".

On the first phase of the story, i find it a little bit boring to watch, but because it's a biography, what do we expect, right? The story talks about who was Mark before he invented Facebook. All his frustrations in his relationships made him create "facemash" which was the origin of Facebook. He was just a genius and clever that he didnt realize, he's making a few enemies along the way. I wont spoil the whole story, but if you already read about his life story, you wont be interested watching this movie, anyway.



There's just some humors that made the other scenes quite funny to watch. If you're a Facebook fan, you might try to watch Mark Zuckerberg's biography. Being a geek can make you a real billionaire, but it's definitely inevitable to make some enemies along the way.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES, a review

This is the fourth installment of The Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. As usual, Johnny played his humorous clever type of a pirate who loves adventures and mysteries. In this film, Jack Sparrow was joined by Angelica (Penelope Cruz) who was his imposter in search for the Fountain of Youth. Angelica is Jack's former lover who happens to be the daughter of the ruthless pirate Blackbeard. This man posseses several magical powers, including the ability to shrink other ships down to miniature size and contain them within bottles. Blackbeard forces Jack to join his crew and lead them to the Fountain to circumvent a prophecy that a one-legged man will soon kill Blackbeard. Meanwhile, Gibbs, who memorized, then destroyed Sparrow's map, joins Barbossa's crew in order to beat Blackbeard and the Spanish to the Fountain. SM City Calamba Grand Opening

It was a TGIF, when SM City Calamba had its grand opening located along the busy road of Real. i remember when i blog about it back in December 21, 2009 where it is still on its first month of construction. I am totally impressed about SM's wikipedia info of its target opening date, which is October of 2010 because they absolutely hit it! Of course, how can i miss that opening? our house is just 5 minutes away from the mall.. though we were'nt able to get our feet stepped in as early, atleast we managed to. ;) The people were so overwhelming, and a huge foot traffic covers all the floors of the mall. It's like we're on a rally or something.. like an Edsa revolution, where we cant barely move as we try to walk around. Worst thing? It took us ages to get a table to eat, because all of the food places were jampacked! customers should even have to wait for the long queue of the restaurants just to have lunch. it's like everybody was there!
